Christine’s family law practice is built on a passion for meeting people where they are and guiding them through some of life’s hardest moments. She handles the full range of family law matters — divorce, custody and timesharing disputes, complex property division, support, modifications, and enforcement — with compassion and zealous advocacy.
In cases involving children, Christine favors a collaborative approach, cultivating an environment where children have the best chance of thriving through the changes their family will experience despite challenges. Drawing on her personal understanding of how high-conflict divorce affects children, she believes parents who shape their own arrangements — rather than leaving decisions to the court — give their families the best chance at a healthy transition and lasting co-parenting relationships.
Christine’s professional experience on her path to family law spanned real estate financing and federal service supporting U.S. foreign policy and national security abroad — all while raising two children as a military spouse. That background gives her particular insight into the challenges facing military and foreign service families. She also brings deep experience with custody and psychological evaluations, along with graduate-level training in psychopathology, which sharpens her understanding of the mental health issues that often surface in family law cases.
Outside her practice, Christine has done pro bono post-conviction work with the Ohio Justice and Policy Center’s Beyond Guilt project — winning a rare conviction reversal for an incarcerated woman — and has volunteered helping formerly incarcerated individuals reenter society. Earlier in her career, she clerked for Judges Richard E. Gardiner and Randy I. Bellows at the Fairfax Circuit Court of Virginia.
Christine graduated magna cum laude from Hawaii Pacific University with a B.A. in Business Administration. She received her J.D., with cum laude honors, along with a certificate in Human Rights and Global Justice Studies, from Florida A&M College of Law. Christine is admitted to practice law by the District of Columbia and the Virginia State Bar.
